Prassthanam is Deva Katta's upcoming Indian Hindi-language political action film. Maanayata Dutt produces the film under her own Sanjay S Dutt Productions banner.Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey, and Amyra Dastur cast the film stars ensemble.
The film focuses around a Ketti Lokanatham Naidu (Sanjay Dutt) politician and his family's relationships.

The film is a remake of the 2010 Telugu film of the same name.Sanjay Dutt, producer Manyata Dutt, and director Deva Katta received a legal notice from Shemaroo Entertainment because they did not have the remake rights for the film.The notice was issued on Monday, July 29, and the trio was given 72 hours to reply to the notice.The film is scheduled to be released on September 20, 2019.
Synopsis
The film focuses around a Baldev Pratap Singh (Sanjay Dutt) politician and his family's relationships.
Filming
On 1 June 2018, Dutt announced the film to be produced on the occasion of Sanjay Dutt's late mother Nargis ' 89th birthday.On 6 June, Dutt's late dad Sunil Dutt started to shoot parts of the film in Lucknow.
